Privacy Policy

Hermes Luke Operations is a private productivity assistant used to support Mike Hendrikse and The Online Marketer with email, calendar, document, and operational workflows.
This privacy policy explains how the application handles Google user data.
Information We Access
When authorised by the user, Hermes Luke Operations may access selected Google account data, including:
- Gmail messages and metadata
- Gmail labels and threads
- the ability to draft, send, or modify Gmail messages when requested
- Google Calendar events
- Google Calendar list information
The application only requests access needed for the workflows the user enables.
How We Use Google Data
Google data is used only to perform tasks requested by the authorised user, such as finding relevant emails, summarising email content, preparing or sending replies, checking calendar events, creating or updating calendar events, and supporting personal or business productivity workflows.
The application does not use Google data for advertising, profiling, or resale.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share Google user data with third parties.
Google data may be processed locally or through authorised AI tools only to complete the user’s requested task. Data is not shared for marketing, advertising, or unrelated analytics.
Data Storage
OAuth tokens may be stored securely on the user’s local system so the application can continue working after authorisation.
Task outputs, summaries, or workflow notes may be stored locally where the user’s Hermes/Luke system keeps its working files.
Data Retention
Google data is retained only as needed for the user’s workflow.
The user may revoke access at any time through Google Account permissions: https://myaccount.google.com/permissions
Revoking access prevents further use of Google account data by the application.
Security
Reasonable steps are taken to protect user data, including local token storage and limiting access to authorised workflows. However, no system can guarantee absolute security.
User Control
The user remains in control of the application. Emails are not sent and calendar events are not created or modified unless requested by the user.
